Little bit late this month because I've been putting lots of time into something else, but that's for another post.
Minimum Maximum by Kraftwerk
Kraftwerk is (in my opinion at least) by far the most influential artist to
modern electronica that we listen to today. Since the 70s Kraftwerk has been pumping out some of the most catchy melodies. While they haven't released a studio album since 1992, Minimum Maximum is a great compilation of some of Kraftwerk's work and I like the live renditions of some of the songs better than the studio version.
Worldwide by The Death Set
Once again another artist from the Baltimore Round Robin Tour. The Death Set is probably the second most popular artist on the Round Robin tour (behind Dan Deacon), but I never took the time to listen to them until I saw them live. Their music is hard to describe, if I had to put a genre on it I'd tag it as dance punk, but they have a very unique sound. If you have a chance to see them live they're great. They never use a stage when one is present and create a really intimate (and very raw sounding) live show.
